Laguna Beach, Season 3 Episode 4
Viewers receive a blast from the past when Laguna veteran LC returns to advise her younger sister Breanna. Breanna vents to LC about her lost friendship with her former best friend Rocky. She makes it clear the rift in their relationship is Rocky's fault for not attending her sweet 16. LC acknowledges her sister's feelings, but directs Breanna to just invite Rocky to the pool party so they can squash things.
Breanna heeds LC's advice to straighten things out with Rocky. While Rocky soaks up sun on the beach with her boyfriend Alex, she gets a phone call from Breanna. The two agree to meet for lunch, so they can discuss what went awry in their friendship and Breanna's upcoming pool party.
While Breanna and Rocky ponder an old relationship, Chase tries to get Kelan to concentrate on a new one. Kelan is smitten with Lexi, so Chase organizes a group date. Kelan seems happy, but uncertain about the date once he finds out Lexi has agreed to come. At lunch, both girls express how they feel. Rocky thinks Breanna began to alienate her once she started hanging out with Tessa. Breanna says she felt like Rocky no longer had time for her. Things begin to heat up as Breanna expresses her resentment that Rocky was a no show at her sweet 16. Rocky justifies her actions and reminds Breanna she was ignoring her phone calls which Rocky says is not the way to keep a friendship going. Once Rocky tells Breanna she needed Tessa for support to attend her 16th birthday party, Breanna breaks down and begins to cry. Rocky tries to comfort her but Breanna refuses her hug. By the end of lunch, both girls are emotionally spent and agree to keep things amicable.
Rocky tells Tessa about her lunch with Breanna. Tessa does not hesitate to tell Rocky she is not happy about her reconciliation with Breanna. She doesn't like the fact that Rocky wants to be nice to someone who is mean to her. Meanwhile, Breanna confides in Lexi about the lunch and Lexi concludes Rocky cannot be trusted.
That night, Kelan finds himself at an expensive French restaurant with Lexi, Chase and Tara. He feels out of place while everyone else seems to be eager to try the food and enjoy the ambiance. The date begins to take a bad turn when Kelan takes a phone call during dinner; this does not impress Lexi, it annoys her. The more Chase presses Kelan to interact with Lexi the more timid he becomes.

However, he still makes an attempt to say goodbye while Breanna continues t o dodge her. Finally fed up Rocky and Alex leave and Rocky is left to wonder if Breanna's tears were sincere.
