Lance Armstrong Announces Son's Birth via Twitter
Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen welcomed the birth of their son, Max Armstrong, late Thursday night, according to the Associated Press.
Armstrong's twitter update read, "Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My mommy is healthy and so am I!" The post also included two photos of the newborn.
Max weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces according to TVGuide.com. He is the couple's first child.
Armstrong won the Tour de France seven years straight after overcoming testicular cancer. A spokeswoman for the Lance Armstrong Foundation said that the baby boy was conceived naturally, reports The Miami Herald.
This is the fourth child for Armstrong who had three children with ex-wife, Kristin. In-vitro fertilization was used to conceive his three children after enduring chemotherapy treatments.
