Last night’s installment of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, saw multiple comments on the ever fruitful topic, Weinergate. Jimmy of course moved on to Arnold Schwarzenegger, yet again. After getting those out of the way, Jimmy mentioned a few other current event subjects, but mainly focused on his now tried and true Arnold/Weiner jokes.
Jimmy next brought out a recurring sketch he has done multiple times already, “Sports Freak Out,” an intense Sports Center type recap. The sketch consists of Jimmy and Higgins shouting at the camera in a frenetic series of video clips. They would do well continuing bringing this bit back, as it is possibly one of their strongest sketches to date.
The first guest on the show was Kirstie Alley, who spoke about Dancing with the Stars and her new weight loss products, which are the first USDA approved organic weight loss products. The highlight of her appearance however, came after the commercial when she and Jimmy played an original game titled “Total Iceholes.”
Jessica Chastain, the second guest on the show, first spoke about being on crutches, then her many upcoming films including Tree of Life, which co-stars Brad Pitt, and has caused a huge stir at Cannes recently.
The musical guest, Robbie Robertson, gave a great rock and roll performance with The Roots, conveying an excitement while also remaining moderately low energy.
