Lauren Conrad and Derek Hough split

Who knew they were even together? Well it looks like The Hills star and Dancing with the Stars pro's relationship was over before it could start.

Perez Hilton reported Lauren Conrad dated Derek Hough for a brief period after her breakup with longtime boyfriend Kyle Howard.

However, according to a source, "This was a rebound that wasn't going to last. Derek never thought it would, either," and Conrad "had fun with Derek…but she always kept her options open."

And while she has had boyfriend after boyfriend after boyfriend, as can be seen on her MTV reality shows, according to Wetpaint, Hough is rumored to be the bigger player.

The site reported he was seen getting pretty cozy with Celebrity Rehab star Jennifer Gimenez at a Halloween party October 29.

A source said when the two caught eyes, Hough quickly headed over to her. "They greeted each other warmly. It was clear they already knew each other," said the source.

A few hours later the two were seen together at a different party where "he was all over her. They were very touchy-feely. They looked like a lot more than just friends," another source said.
