Lauren Conrad to Release New Clothing Line

According to People, reality TV star Lauren Conrad is set to design a clothing line for the Kohl's chain of department stores.

The collection, entitled "LC Lauren Conrad," is scheduled to start hitting stores in October 2009. Products will range in price from $20-60, and will start with just apparel, but may expand into jewelry, footwear, handbags, sleepwear and intimates at a later time.

Conrad said in a statement, "Partnering with a successful national retailer like Kohl's supports my mission to make great clothing accessible to young women everywhere."

Conrad previously released a self-titled clothing line, which was more expensive, with dresses costing close to $200.

"LC Lauren Conrad, will first start in 300 Kohl's stores and the store's Web site, and will expand from there.
