Lavigne Will Attempt Fashion Design

Singer Avril Lavigne will release a clothing line in Kohl's department stores.

In an era where everyone is launching fashion lines, it would be insane to believe that Canada's pop punk princess wouldn't want to be doing it too. Avril Lavigne is coming out with a fashion line in the summer for some back to school shopping.

According to Hollywood Today, the singer's clothes will be sold at Kohl's department stores. Lavigne seems excited to sell clothes that will start at $24 and make their way up to $48. She says, "I'm thrilled to announce my clothing line, Abbey Dawn. [It] will aspire to be a unique and accessible reflection of my ever-changing style."

The clothes will include bold colors, stripes, plaids, and anything else a teen might want to wear to imitate Lavigne. She really wants the line to be her. She says,"I have a very particular style. I want it to be available to a lot of girls, and I want it to be affordable. I actually am the designer. What's really important to me is that everything fits well and is well made, so I try everything on and approve it all."

I'm not sure how unique the whole fashion turn is for the singer, but I'm sure some of Avril's fans will be counting down the days til they can buy her style.
