Leaked Chris Brown Songs Aren't New
Has Chris Brown been sending out subliminal messages through his music?
The R&B singer raised a few eyebrows when singles titled "Smash", "Uh-Oh" and "Not My Fault" were recently leaked.
Brown has been subject to scrutiny as a result of an altercation with singer/ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February. On Monday Brown was sentenced to 180 days of community service and five years probation.
Given Brown's legal woes it was no wonder that people were weary of such ironic and inappropriately titled tracks.
The tracks were said to be songs on Brown's upcoming album "Graffiti".
The singer's label, Jive Records, sent out a press release slamming rumors of the songs that have been circulating: "Countering misleading reports of 'new' Chris Brown music: there are no 'new' songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label, there are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris."
There is no official release date for "Graffiti".
