LeAnn Rimes Questioned by Police

Country singer LeAnn Rimes was questioned by police after a minor traffic accident Thursday night in Los Angeles, People magazine reports.

A spokesperson for Rimes said there was a routine investigation into the accident and a police report was filed.

The accident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. in West Los Angles. There were no injuries and no charges were filed.

According to Access Hollywood, the L.A. Police Department confirmed the accident, saying "We can confirm she was involved in some type of traffic accident. She was questioned and released. It's an ongoing investigation."

Rimes was recently seen on a golf outing with Eddie Cibrian in Valencia, Calif. The couple debuted their relationship a month after reports surfaced that both had separated from their spouses. A source close to Rimes told People magazine last month that she and husband Dean Sheremet separated a while ago after seven years of marriage. And a rep for Cibrian said that he and wife Brandi Glanville were experiencing a "speed bump" in their eight-year marriage.
