LeBron Will Appear On Cover of "Vogue"
LeBron James is set to become only the third male to ever appear on the cover of Vogue when the April issue of the magazine hits newsstands.
The Cleveland Cavaliers' superstar joins the likes of Richard Gere and George Clooney as the only men to appear on the cover in the magazine's 116-year history.
James can be seen wearing a black tank top and shorts with his signature LBJ shoes, dribbling a basketball and screaming, as if playing in a game, all while placing a hand around supermodel Gisele Bundchen (without Tom Brady in the shot).
The pair was shot by famed photographer Abbie Leibovitz in James's hometown of Akron, Ohio.
The issue is devoted to featuring athletes and models, emphasizing their size and shape. With this in mind, it is apparent that the 6'9" James and 5'11" Bundchen, girlfriend of Patriots quarterback Brady, were an obvious choice for the cover.
"Nobody says more about fashion, size and shape than Gisele and LeBron," Vogue spokesman Patrick O'Connell said.
