Led Zeppelin Reunion Tour in the Works
Jimmy Page, lead guitarist for the rock band, Led Zeppelin, said the band was open to a world reunion tour, Reuters reported. The band performed together in December at a charity concert, and with the success of the show, it triggered the idea for another world tour.
"I can assure you the amount of work that we put into the O2 [concert], for ourselves, rehearsing and the staging of it, was probably what you put into a world tour," the guitarist said of the December show, MTV.com reported.
Still, should Led Zeppelin return in its full glory, September would be the earliest it would return to the stage. The band's singer, Robert Plant, is currently touring the nation with country singer Alison Krauss. The two singers collaborated on the Raising Sand album.
