Led Zeppelin to Reunite
Robert Plant has confirmed that the three remaining members of the legendary band are indeed reuniting. Plant, along with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, have met to discuss doing a one time reunion show in London, tentatively scheduled for November. The gig will apparently be part of a charity show organized by Harvey Goldsmith. Missing will be the late John Bonham, who passed away at 32 in 1980 from asphyxiation, due to complications from alcoholism. His son, Jason Bonham, will likely take his place behind the kit for the event.
Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980 after Bonham's death. Plant, Page, and Jones each continued their music careers, working with a variety of artists. This will be the first reunion between the three members, as an apparent feud between Plant and Jones caused an internal rift between the remaining band members.
