Ledger Taking on a New Role of Mr. Mom
Heath Ledger is taking off from acting to take a stab at parenthood
After next month's Academy Award's ceremony, Heath Ledger is taking a break from acting in order to spend more time with infant daughter, Matilda. The Aussie dad wants to let his partner, Michelle Williams, the ability to follow her own acting career. Ledger has also vowed to stay at home for the next year. Both mom and dad have nabbed Oscar nominations for their roles in Brokeback Mountain. Ledger proclaimed at Sunday night's BAFTAs, "I'm going to try not to work at all this year and send Michelle out to bring in the cash. I'll be Mr. Mom. It's something that's very important to me - something that every dad, if he can, should do his best to achieve."
