Ledger's Last Will and Testament Was Written Before "Brokeback"

In Ledger's will, all of his money was left to his parents and sisters, but it was written before he even met Williams.

It has been reported that the late Heath Ledger's will leaves all of his money and possessions to his parents and his sisters. The New York Daily News reported that Ledger wrote the will before starring in Brokeback Mountain, where he met Michelle Williams, the mother of his daughter, Matilda.

Ledger died in January from an accidental drug overdose, shocking the world. Ledger seemed to have $145,000 of New York assets, which included a Toyota Prius, money in shared bank accounts, and furniture. The value of the house he shared with Williams in Brooklyn before his breakup is not known, nor is the full amount of money he left behind.

Whether Ledger's family will provide for Matilda or if Williams will contest the will is not known. Both parties are still trying to cope with the loss they have suffered. Since it has not appeared that there is any bad blood between them, it seems any problems with the will can be resolved when needed.
