Ledger's Three Replacements Will Give Film Earnings to Actor's Daughter
The trio of actors who took the place of Heath Ledger in the Oscar nominee's final film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, will donate their earnings from the film to Ledger's daughter.
The replacements - Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell - will all play "Tim" in the film.
Based on a report from The Sun, the actors were fearing for Ledger's 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, because the actor had not updated his will before his death.
"That's extraordinary! And wonderful," The Sun quoted director Terry Gilliam saying. "And when you're part of that, you think, 'Ah, this is maybe why I went to the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.'"
Matilda's mother (and Ledger's ex-fiancee) is actress Michelle Williams, who starred alongside of the Oscar nominee in Brokeback Mountain.
