Levi Johnston’s tell-all book, Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs, was released earlier this week.
Inside its pages, the father of Bristol Palin’s son, Tripp, dishes about his personal experiences with the Palin family – even alleging in an interview with E! News that the former Alaskan governor had a crush on him!
“Even growing up my friends would always say that [Palin would flirt with him], it seems kind of weird. Then one of my publishers said she had a cougar crush on me!" he explained while promoting the book.
Furthermore, Johnston is claiming that their son was no mistake, and that the couple planned on having him. “Bristol wanted to have a baby," he said, adding, "It all happened on purpose."
"I wasn't tricked into it…I kind of went with it," he went on to say.
Further reiterating those comments, The Hollywood Reporter writes that while on The Wendy Williams Show, Johnston said that Bristol wanted to have a baby because she was jealous of her politician mother having a baby.
“Sarah had Trig and that really sparked [Bristol] to have a child,” he said. “We previously talked about it, but that’s what really got her going on it.”
