Levi Johnston Takes a Crack At Pistachios
Former fiancé of Bristol Palin and father of Sarah Palin's grandson, Levi Johnston, makes light of his past advertisements for a pistachio company.
Johnston in the video advertisement wears a t-shirt with a silhouette of Alaska. Tank, Johnston's real-life bodyguard, and Johnston were surrounded by camera flashes while someone off-camera shouted "How's the baby?"
The video company, Wonderful Pistachios, makes subtle remarks to Mr. Johnston's fatherhood. The firm also created a blog with other humorous comments.
Bristol Palin's pregnancy surfaced last year. Tripp, their son was born in December and the couple's planned marriage never materialized.
The commercial spot, one of seven others, stars celebrities demonstrating how they open pistachio nuts. The commercial began airing on Monday during the leading prime-time slot of the fall's television programs.
Other celebrities included are Vincent Pastore from "The Sopranos" and the Olympic Swimmer Dara Torres. The commercials have also appeared online.
