Liam Neeson may play Abraham Lincoln in new movie
Steven Spielberg is toying with casting Liam Neeson as the lead role in the movie version of the yet-to-be-released book, 'The Uniter: The Genius of Abraham Lincoln.'
Written by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, the biography explores the 16th president's leadership during the Civil War. The book will be published in October.
'The Uniter' is slated to start filming next January.
Neeson, 52, is no stranger to Spielberg's biopics. The two worked together on the highly acclaimed 'Schindler's List,' which won seven Academy Awards in 1993.
