Lil Wayne cancels shows


Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne has canceled multiple shows in Australia and has added shows in Africa. The performances in Australia will not be rescheduled according to a representative for Wayne.

AllHipHop.com reported that the following dates have been canceled, November 25 in Perth, as well as a performance in Adelaide on Sunday, November 27. According to a representative for Lil Wayne, the rapper will not be able to perform these concerts due to scheduling conflicts, scheduling conflicts meant Wayne would not arrive in Australia in time for his planned shows. Wayne was also scheduled to perform with Eminem on December 1 and that performance is still set to go on at Etihad Stadium.

The Herald Sun reported that tickets will be refunded for the cancelled performances but the shows will not be rescheduled. Wayne will be heading back to Australia next year.

Lil Wayne will be heading to Africa this month for the first tour in the continent the rapper has done. On December 7, Wayne will be performing in Cape Town and then be heading to Johannesburg. Then, to a newly added performance in Durban. Tickets are on sale for the newly added performance.

Young Money artists will be opening for Wayne on the Africa leg of his tour.
