Lil Wayne is a free man!
After his eight-month stint in New York’s Rikers Island, the rapper was released early Thursday morning.
According to People, he has been spending time with family since his release, but this weekend he will have an all-out homecoming bash in Las Vegas and Miami in South Beach.
He is rumored to be joining fellow rapper Drake on his opening show for his Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour on Saturday. Drake hinted at the possibility, saying, "I would just advise you to book a ticket out there."
Lil Wayne, 28, is also throwing an “over-the-top” bash to celebrate his homecoming in South Beach, Miami. In a yet to be named club, the party will have over 100 guests, including recording artists Birdman, Drake, and Jay Sean on Sunday.
