Lil' Wayne Supplants Coldplay on Top of U.S. Charts
Tha Carter III makes a return to the No. 1 spot.
Rapper Lil' Wayne, whose new album, Tha Carter III, sold over a million copies its first week last month, returned to the top of the U.S. Billboard chart, Reuter's reports.
The album replaced Coldplay's recent Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends atop the charts, which had enjoyed a two-week stay at the top. In the four weeks since the release of Tha Carter III, the album has sold 1.68 million copies.
The Jonas Brothers' Camp Rock soundtrack stayed firm in the No. 3 spot for the third consecutive week.
G-Unit's T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight) and John Mayer's new Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles rounded out the top five.
