Lilo Takes Up a Fashion Gig

Lindsay Lohan may have hit some bumpy roads in the past, but at least she's always done it in style. Now she's going to act as fashion designer Emanuel Ungaro's new creative consultant, according to The Miami Herald.

Reuters.com reported that the reason behind taking on Lohan is to deliver creative ideas as a "super consumer" to chief designer of the brand, Estrella Archs.

Not everyone was impressed by the decision to hire Lohan as a contributer. The New York Times declared that Esteban Cortazar, who had been the star designer at the Ungaro fashion house for three seasons quit when he heard the idea of walking down the runway hand in hand with Lohan at the end of the show.

The fashion house plans, however, to receive an influential lot of press by adding "Lilo" to the team, and hopefully the new project will give the movie star a creative outlet and get her back on track professionally again.
