Lily Tomlin Set for "Desperate Housewives"
The 68-year-old will join the cast next season.
The television show with the most prominent female cast is adding another well-known female actor.
Next season, the ladies on Wisteria Lane will welcome legendary comedian Lily Tomlin, according to the TV Fanatic.
According to their sources, Tomlin's character will move to Wisteria Lane in order to help out her sibling who has taken ill. With this, as one might expect after watching Desperate Housewives, a great deal of drama ensues.
At this point, the details are very limited, which is meant to entice you to tune in when Desperate Housewives returns on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
