Limbaugh will not be charged
Authorities agree not to charge radio host with holding perscription drugs that wern't his
Rush Limbaugh will not face criminal charges for having someone else's bottle of Viagra. Limbaugh contented the bottle was his and was under a different name for privacy purposes.
The state attorney's office told the Associated Press Dr. Steve Strumwasser's name was on the Viagra bottle, not Limbaugh's. Strumwasser told authorities he "agreed to have his name on the label in an effort to avoid potentially embarrassing publicity for the suspect," according to the state attorney's office filing.
Under Florida law, a doctor can prescribe drugs under a third-party as long as there is proper documentation and all parties are aware of what is happening.
