Lindsay Lohan Attempts to Stop Michael Lohan from Releasing Private Diary Excerpts
A hopeful Lindsay Lohan was trying to make strides towards making her life better after serving jail and rehab sentences. However, the recent actions of her father – and her consequent attempt to halt them – are once again standing in the way.
Michael Lohan has evidently got his hands on a private diary hand-written by his daughter while in rehab at Cirque Lodge in Utah in 2007, and he is now reportedly shopping to sell these private excerpts.
RadarOnline.com has obtained a threatening letter sent from the actress’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, to a “shameful” Michael Lohan trying to prevent him from selling the letters and warning that if he does, he will reprimanded by the law.
The letter states that the starlet was unaware that her father was in possession of the letters, and should he attempt to sell them or any other personal belonging of hers, she will seek damages for a “grave invasion of privacy.”
"I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life," she told the October issue of Vanity Fair.
