Lindsay Lohan Checks Into Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly entered Pickford Lofts, a sober-living facility opened by Robert Shapiro, attorney famous for being a member of the legal team that successfully defended O.J. Simpson during his murder trail.

Recent reports reveal that Lohan has acquired the legal representation of Shapiro.

Lohan reportedly hiring the world-famous Shapiro was prompted by her prior lawyer unexpectedly stepping down.

Shawn Chapman Holley, who was by her side at the July 6 sentencing hearing, resigned last week as Lohan’s legal aide.

Some are presuming this as a tactic for LiLo to worm her way out of her prison sentence via legal loop holes. However, Holley assures the troubled actress would abide by its terms and report to jail as planned.

Instead, it appears the 24-year-old starlet is trying to sober up before surrendering to authorities.

"As long as they detox her off everything ... then that's a good start and it says that they know what they are doing," Michael Lohan said of his daughter’ situation.

Lohan is due to begin a 90-day jail term on July 20 for violating the conditions of her probation. She was also ordered to attend a 90-day in patient rehabilitation program after completion of the jail sentence.
