Joining the ranks of celebrities like Kim Kardashian who will get paid the big bucks just to party on New Year’s Eve, Lindsay Lohan was rumored to ringing in the new year by partying aboard a yacht in Dubai.
However, the actress is determined to put her party girl image behind her and her rep vehemently denies that she has accepted the offer to party on the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2.
"At no point was Lindsay ever considering going to Dubai for New Year's Eve," her rep told The Wrap.
Furthermore, Lohan is reportedly so angry about the rumors that her legal team has threatened legal action against the overseas party planning company who set out the reports.
TMZ reports that her team has created a cease and desist letter and they’re prepared to issue it to anyone who reports Lohan’s untrue New Year’s Eve plans and uses her name to promote the party.
So what will Lohan be doing this New Year’s Eve?
“Lindsay is not going to Dubai, nor had she ever considered doing so. She will be spending New Year's Eve in Los Angeles with a few close friends and family,” said her rep, Steve Honig.
