Lindsay Lohan Gets Floured
Lindsay Lohan was doused in flour last night after leaving a Paris nightclub. She was heading to the VIP room of a Champ-Elysees venue around 1 a.m., when a French animal activist emptied a full bag of flour over her and shouted, "Lindsay Lohan, fur hag!" Lohan, not unfamiliar to animal activists for her frequent fur apparel, has spurred angry reactions before. Robbie LeBlanc, the European spokesperson for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), responded, "There is nothing remotely 'fashionable' about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all."
Earlier this year, Lohan, along with Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss, and Eva Longoria, appeared in PETA's worst dressed list. Lohan's girlfriend, Sam Ronson, came to her defense, telling PETA to back off, on her blog today. "I'm pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night." She also added that the woman who doused Lindsay not only "acted like an animal herself," but that it was actually an "insult to animals to group her in with them."
