Lindsay Lohan had Alcohol and Cocaine in System during Car Crash

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan had nearly twice the legal limit of alcohol and cocaine in her system during a car accident in Los Angeles last month. The gossip website claims that they received information from multiple law enforcement sources.

Lohan crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into a gutter on Sunset Blvd. on May 26. She left the scene of the accident shortly afterward and was spotted by police at a local hospital where she was receiving treatment for minor injuries.

She was placed under arrest after suspicion that she was driving under the influence and was administered a blood test. Officials said they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in her car.

The case could be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney as early as today.

Lohan is currently in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. Her lawyer would not discuss details to TMZ about the case.
