Lindsay Lohan Launching an Apparel Line
Actress Lindsay Lohan seems to be shifting career gears and concentration more on the fashion industry. She already has a leggings line in her 6126 label and is the artistic adviser at Ungaro. Now, Lohan is launching her own contemporary apparel line in fall 2010.
“I need more followers I am so sad about this, how can I tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! All clothing,” she Tweeted.
Women’s Wear Daily confirmed the news. The clothing line will feature 100 pieces with an average retail price point between $100 and $150, the wwd.com reported. There are also plans to launch cosmetics, handbags, shoes and jewelry in 2011 according to Kristi Kaylor, principal in 6126 LLC in Beverly Hills.
“The vision is to offer customers something that they don’t have in the marketplace today, items that go back with leggings: blazers, dresses and tops,” Kaylor said.
Sketches of the line are available on the web.
