Lindsay Lohan’s probation hearing Tuesday went off without any drama. She was even commended by the judge for completing all of her requirements on time.
E! News reports that Lohan arrived at court 15 minutes earlier and that the hearing was so short that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner had just enough time to give Lohan a passing grade.
Sautner heard positive reports from Lohan’s morgue supervisor and probation officer. "I'm pleased to say she's done it all,” Sautner said after the short testimony.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Lohan still has to do another 15 days of community service and go to four therapy sessions by Feb. 22, the date of her next hearing. Sautner said that if Lohan completes the full 60-day community service sentence on time, she could be done by March 29. "Keeping doing what you are doing. You appear to be doing it well,” Sautner added.
Lohan is currently serving probation after she was convicted of a DUI charge in 2007 and a 2011 conviction for a jewelry robbery. She had missed days of required community service after pleading guilty to the robbery charge last year. The New York Daily News reports that at the time, Sautner had sentenced her to a 30-day jail sentence and strict monthly requirements. Lohan wound up spending just five hours in jail before being released.
"She's obviously thriving under this structure, and I also think she's maturing. I think she gets it, and she's looking forward to getting this whole thing behind her," her lawyer Shawn Holley told the NY Daily News. Lohan reportedly wants to finish her requirements early so she can play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie. The 25-year-old actress has not appeared in any film recently, but did attend Harvey Weinstein’s Golden Globes after party Sunday night.
