Lindsay Lohan robbed in L.A. apartment

Fallen starlet and party girl, Lindsay Lohan, was robbed last night. Lohan realized her L.A. apartment had been broken into when arriving home late the night before. A safe was ripped off of her wall and there was jewelry missing as well. LAPD confirms that they received a call reporting the break-in at 7 a.m. that morning and the burglary is still being investigated.

This is the second time Lohan's apartment has been broken into since May. In the first incident, the robbers were scared off by the alarm but caught on tape.

During the recent robbery, the alarm wasn't sounded. Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, suspects that it was an inside offense since one of Lohan's employees would have to have been responsible for turning the alarm off. Michael Lohan said, "I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family. Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop."

Lindsay's mom, Dina, on how Lindsay is coping says, "She is okay, but is upset. The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed. Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."
