Lindsay Lohan to Star Alongside Meryl Streep
The actress will star in "A Prairie Home Companion" which is due next year
Lindsay Lohan is the farthest thing from a prairie girl but the actress has signed on to play a cowboy in "A Prairie Home Companion" with her personal favorite, actress Meryl Streep. Written by Garrison Keillor and based on his radio variety series of the same name, the film is a fictional version of the show's final broadcast featuring singing cowboys, country-music siren played by Streep and her daughter, played by Lohan. The all-star cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Virginia Madsen, John C. Reilly, Maya Rudolph, and Lily Tomlin. There are also talks of Tommy Lee Jones joining the cast of "Prairie," which will be released next year.
