Lindsay Lohan throws rooftop party during house arrest

Although she was subjected to house arrest after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace in May, Lindsay Lohan isn’t letting that keep her from having a good time.

The actress spent day 18 of her 35-day house arrest with a group of friends on the roof of her Venice Beach home in Los Angeles.

She was seen laughing and smoking cigarettes as she and her guests enjoyed a barbecue bash and the California sun.

While it’s true that she’s not allowed to leave the premises of her home, except for medical reasons until she’s released in about two and a half weeks, she is legally allowed to entertain visitors without restrictions, and she’s apparently using this to her advantage.
