Lindsay Lohan Will Not Appear on Mom's Reality Show

Dina Lohan is disappointed today, after the news that her daughter (and the biggest reason why she has her own reality show) will not be a part of her new E! show, Living Lohan.

The premise behind Dina's new reality show is that it will show her attempting to kick start the career of Lindsay's younger sister, Ali, much the same way she got Lindsay's started.

The reason Lindsay won't join is that she does not want to undercut her career by moving to reality television, according to her mother.

"Doing reality TV would almost be taking a step backward as far as her career goes," Dina tells TV Guide in their upcoming issue. But many speculate that even though her quote makes Lindsay's absence seem like a mutual decision, Dina is devastated that her famous daughter will skip the show.

"I just want to get the message across that we are a normal family," Dina said. "People believe I'm this crazy party mom, but I have never partied with Lindsay."
