Lindsay Lohan's purse returned with all her cash missing

Lindsay Lohan has had her purse returned to her, but it was missing one component. The purse thief must have decided to keep the $10,000 the actress had stowed away in her purse.

Lohan's $5,000 Chanel purse went missing from her car on Saturday night while she was at a house party in Hawaii. She promptly called the police and searched the house herself to look for the bag but turned up empty until Sunday morning.

Early Sunday morning, a friend spotted a suspicious-looking local and questioned him about the missing purse. He claimed that he knew nothing about the stolen accessory but later returned with the purse saying that he found it somewhere on the street.

Lohan was so relieved to have her purse back, which also contained her passport and important probation documents, that she did not further question the man who returned it. The probation documents allowed Lohan to visit Hawaii for the weekend despite her probation regulations.

Lohan reportedly traveled to the islands for some rest and relaxation with her sister Ali. She is set to appear in court on Wednesday for a status hearing.
