Lisa Marie Presley has turned 44, and she rang in her birthday with a present to all Elvis Presley fans.
CBS News reported the King of Rock n’ Roll’s daughter opened a new exhibit called “Elivs…Through His Daughter’s Eyes” on Wednesday.
Elvis Presley Enterprise's director of public relations, Kevin Kern, said the exhibit, which sits inside Graceland, features sentimental items such as Lisa Marie’s baby footprints, tricycle, crib, family photos, and home movies that showcase the two’s father-daughter relationship.
"This exhibit is something she has been very excited about," he said.
According to Reuters, the 44-year-old appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to talk about the exhibit.
She also brought along a scarf that has the words “I love my Lisa, Daddy” scribbled on it from when her father wrote them in 1972, five years before he passed away.
Lisa Marie explained that the exhibit also includes items that belonged to her father, including his “most amazing clothes ever” and a small chest he always took with him on tour that held a photo of his father and his driver’s license.
Opening day was a very intimate event. Out of 2,000 entries for tickets, only 25 were chosen and each of them could bring along one guest.
