Lohan Drops "The Best Time of Our Lives"

Would-be costar Keira Knightley said to be furious.

Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley is fuming over fellow actress Lindsay Lohan's withdrawal from The Best Time of Our Lives. The film, about Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, was set to begin filming in May, but 20-year-old Lohan has dropped the project, apparently over a problem with her contract. The red-headed star has recently been in the news for her stint in rehab and her wild partying.

The snub has reportedly left Knightley furious because she personally encouraged Lohan to take on the role. The two were set to star opposite Matthew Rhys as Thomas and Cillian Murphy as William Killick, Knightley's character's husband.

It is rumored that Knightley and Lohan have had a falling out over the incident.

Knightley is slated to appear in the third and final installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, while Lohan will appear in Georgia Rule and I Know Who Killed Me. Factory Girl actress Sienna Miller has already stepped in to replace Lohan.
