Lohan gets another year of probation

After missing alcohol education classes, Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to another year of probation.

Lindsay Lohan appeared in court today with her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, to explain to a judge why she missed her alcohol education classes

Surprise, surprise – Lindsay Lohan appeared in court yet again this week. According to the BBC News, the actress was asked to appear in court on Friday because she had failed to attend some of her alcohol education classes.

ABC News reported that in 2007, Lohan was ordered to complete an 18-month program as well as 24 hours in jail, 10 days of community service, and a three-year probation period following her arrest for drunk driving, reckless driving, and driving under the influence of cocaine.

Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan's lawyer, said that the actress didn't attend the classes because she had left LA to work on a movie in Texas, and there had been a misunderstanding of when she would be back.

The judge accepted Lohan's excuse, but added another year to Lohan's probation and told her to finish the program as soon as she could.
