Lohan Will Star in Six Episodes of "Betty"
The starlet's episode will air on May 22.
As initially reported by TheCelebrityCafe.com Saturday night, Lindsay Lohan will appear on the series finale of Ugly Betty.
But, as Variety reported Monday, Lohan will appear on six episodes of Ugly Betty, including the season finale and next season. Hollywood insiders confirmed to the entertainment trade publication that the actress's first day on set was Saturday.
Lohan's appearance on the set of the show starring America Ferrera ended a series of rumors saying that the troubled star would be on Ugly Betty. Lohan joins the critically acclaimed cast, which also includes Emmy nominee Vanessa Williams.
Lohan's character, reports say, is a former high school classmate of Betty Suarez. Lohan was mean to her then, but when the two run into each other in the finale, Lohan's poor run of luck is contrasted starkly with Betty's promising career.
The season finale of Ugly Betty will air on May 22.
