Lohan Won't Jump into the Emmy Race

Actress Lindsay Lohan has decided not to submit her name for a potential Emmy nomination, feeling that her appearance on Ugly Betty was not enough to show her talents properly, WENN reports.

Because Lohan landed a cameo in the show, she was eligible to be nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category. Ugly Betty has since become a hotspot for big name cameos.

However, because Lohan was only in one major scene of the episode, the actress decided against submitted her name for nomination, feeling there wasn't enough for a viable reel. "The appearance was brief. We made a decision to wait," says Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane.

She may not have to wait very long. The next season of Ugly Betty promises Lohan a much bigger role.
