Lollapalooza Schedule Announced

Radiohead will headline the three-day festival.

The schedule for Chicago's Lollapalooza has been announced, and from the surface, it appears that Midwest music fans will not be disappointed.

Headlining the show will be Radiohead, who recently released their new album, In Rainbows, amidst a great deal of buzz due to the band's bypass of major record labels.

Also starring in the three-day concert in Chicago's Grant Park, which is located near Lake Michigan, will be Kanye West and Wilco.

The founder of the Lollapalooza festival, Perry Farrell, calls this year's lineup of musical acts "a gorgeous array of talent," according to his interview with the Associated Press.

Other acts set to perform include Rage Against the Machine (in the second year of their reunion), Nine Inch Nails, Gnarls Barkley (supporting their new CD), Bloc Party, Lupe Fiasco, The Raconteurs, The Black Keys, Broken Social Scene, Cat Power and Mark Ronson.

Last year, the popular three-day festival was headlined by Pearl Jam.
