Lopez's sex tape blocked from distribution
The past doesn't seem to be that easy for Jennifer Lopez to leave behind. ABC News reports that on Monday, a judge blocked Lopez's ex-husband from distributing a film about their past sex-life.
Superior Court Judge James Chalfant ordered Ojani Noa, who was married to Lopez for 11 months, a restraining order blocking the distribution of a film he made until a hearing on Tuesday that would decide whether or not the order would be extended. Lopez is charging Noa with $10 million for breaching a confidentiality agreement, and wants his film, which features the couple in sexual situations, to be permanently blocked from distribution. She also sued Ed Meyer, Noa's manager and producer of the movie, according to the Associated Press.
This isn't the first suit Lopez has been involved in with her ex-husband. Noa had a $125,000 settlement from Lopez after a suit claiming she fired him without cause from a restaurant. Lopez won $545,000 in damages in 2007 when she blocked Noa from publishing a book about his relationship with Lopez, which he had threatened to sell unless she paid $5 million.
