Loving But No Defending for Jon Gosselin

Looks like "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin loves the ladies, but not so much as to step out to their defense. Kate Major, the latest woman the father of twins and sextuplets was seen with, is busy defending herself.

The 26-year-old former Star reporter, who quit her job because of their relationship, according to the New York Daily News, told E! News that she is a "nice" person.

"I realize being in the public eye often means facing criticism and being a target of hurtful lies. It simply comes with the territory," she said.

Besides being seen in New York's Upper East Side and the Hamptons with Major, Gosselin has also been in France with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman.

The two women Gosselin has been linked with have some shady pasts. According to the New York Daily News, Glassman has a reputation as a "party girl" and Major has been in rehab in the past.

Soon-to-be ex-wife Kate Gosselin, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be running off with men. She was seen Thursday night taking her twins to a Jonas Brothers concert.
