Lucas and Spielberg Team Up

The two super-directors attempt to team up for "Indiana Jones 4"

Talks of "Indian Jones 4" have been in and out of Hollywood for the past couple of years. With the last script not being up to par with the Lucas, Spielberg and Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones himself), it seemed that it would not happen.

It is not until now that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are seriously trying to get the film into production. Recently, they have given the script writing opportunity to Jeff Nathanson.

He is no stranger to working with Spielberg considering he worked on "Catch Me if You Can" and "The Terminal". Variety claims that even if Nathanson's script is good enough, it still will be difficult to get the Indiana Jones franchise up and running again.

Meanwhile, the two directors and Ford have their own upcoming projects to focus on. Spielberg is currently working on "War of the Worlds" starring Tom Cruise and Lucas is putting the finishing touches on "Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith". Ford is beginning work on the film, "The Wrong Element".
