Ludacris's Car Load of Generosity
Ludacris is doing his part to help those in need during these unfortunate economic times. CNN.com has reported that the rapper has given away twenty free cars to those in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, who made the best case in essay form, of why they deserved a new mode of transportation.
The rapper and actor partnered up with Morrow, Georgia's Nissan Southern dealership, to arrange the giveaway, according to actressarchives.com
Most of the candidates who wrote in described their hopelessness in searching for a job. Since they have no way to get to and from their destination, their career hunt is severely hindered.
Some of the stories really hit home with the "Crash" star. He said upon hearing of a story of a Sudanese school worker who's family was murdered in the Sudanese genocide, "I thought I had faced some adversities in life. But I've not faced adversities at all compared to what he's been through. I cannot imagine going through what he's gone through and still be that strong."
