Mackenzie Phillips has pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. She will attend drug rehab in the attempt to finally get sober after a long history of drug use.
The program will last 18 months.
The former One Day at a Time star entered the plea to a felony drug charge at a Los Angeles courthouse on Friday.
In return for the plea, two counts of possessing heroin and a needle against Phillips were dismissed.
Phillips, 48, is best known as the daughter of John Phillips, formerly a member of the Mamas and the Papas. Her drug use led to Phillips being fired from her gig on One Day at a Time in 1982.
