Madonna and A-Rod Reunite

Little has been seen or heard from Madonna and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez since their controversial Thanksgiving, but the "friends" were spotted together in the Hamptons last weekend, reports Extra. Madonna and A-Rod, who have continually insisted that they are not in a relationship, reportedly slept over at Jerry Seinfeld's mansion, where they met for the first time last October.

The trip was not as fun and relaxing as the non-couple hoped it would be; according to Page Six, Madonna was furious over unflattering photographs from her album cover shoot that were leaked.

"Madonna called up the label screaming when the photos got out," a witness described.

Since her divorce from director Guy Ritchie, Madonna has been linked to A-Rod and Brazilian model Jesu Luz, who she is rumored to have asked to follow her on tour to Sao Paulo. Nothing has been said about either brief romance since Madonna has been trying to stay friends with ex Guy Ritchie for both their children and her religion.

"Kabbalah doesn't encourage divorce," said one of Madonna's friends. "So her friends in the religion are pushing them to reunite or, at the very least, maintain a solid friendship."

Guy Ritchie's father, John, does not seem to agree with the idea of friendship, saying recently, "The worst thing would be if they reconciled." He added that the two don't fight, but merely talk about the children. "There are no big arguments between them. All they discuss is the children."

A-Rod hasn't exactly been pining for Madonna during their time apart. According to TMZ, he went on a date with actress Kate Hudson earlier this month. The couple went to Lure Fishbar, a Manhattan seafood restaurant, and then met friend Ron Burkle at a bar after. Hudson's rep has denied these reports, saying they were Lure with "a group of 10 people."

Of course, it doesn't really matter who Rodriguez has been dating, since he continues to reiterate that he is just friends with Madonna. In November, when asked about his relationship with the popstar, he said, "I have a lot of respect for Madonna. She's very committed to making the world a better place. She's had an amazing career, and we're friends- that's it."
