Madonna to Announce Divorce from Guy Ritchie?

The rumors of a Madonna and Guy Ritchie split are back in full force: Wednesday morning, British tabloids reported the announcement of the couple's divorce is "imminent," according to the Associated Press.

Two British tabloids, the Sun and Daily Mail, reported that the couple hopes to split by Christmas. Both publications cited unnamed sources.

According to the Sun, the singer hoped to wrap up her "Sticky and Sweet" tour in Brazil this winter before announcing the split.

Reps for Ritchie and Madonna have yet to respond to the latest divorce rumors. Over the summer, divorce rumors sparked when the singer was linked romantically to baseball player Alex Rodriguez and implied to be the cause of his divorce to ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez.

At the time, Madonna's publicist said the couple had "no plans to divorce."

The couple married in 2000 in a castle in Scotland. Madonna and Ritchie have two children together: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted.

Ritchie is currently directing a Sherlock Holmes movie in England. Madonna is currently on her "Sweet and Sticky" tour and continues to perform. Her next scheduled performances are in Boston on Wednesday and Thursday.
