Since the Super Bowl half time’s one slip-up, which featured M.I.A. flipping the bird to NBC cameras, Madonna is speaking out about it for the first time.

Madonna called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Friday morning, and she admitted she “wasn’t happy” about the incident.

USA Today reports said she wasn’t even aware it happened until she left. She said, “I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it.”

"I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity it seemed negative,” she told Seacret on his KIIS-FM show. “It's one of the those things, it's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do…there was such a feeling of love and unity there what was the point?

TMZ reports she added, “It was just out of place."

However, the singer also spoke about the tremendously positive experience she had with another collaborator, Cee Lo Green.

She said when she performed “Like a Prayer” with The Voice mentor, she "was overwhelmed. I almost started crying. I felt an incredible sense ... of warmth, love, and support. To see an entire stadium light up like candles - it was like a religious experience."

Overall, to sum up her overall experience headlining the Super Bowl half time show, she said it "was like winning a war."
