Veteran singer Madonna has revealed that she will start recording new music this summer.
The “Queen of Pop,” who has been around for decades, will hit the studio starting in July to get her next album rolling.
MTV News reports that Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed this notion on Twitter.
"Madonna goes into the recording studio next month to begin work on new album," he wrote. "She has a good idea of which producers she will be working with ... lots of questions about what kind of music it will be ... stay tuned."
In December, Madonna herself hinted at getting back in the studio. She wrote on her Facebook page, "Its official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music! Music I can dance to. I'm on the lookout for the maddest, sickest, most badass people to collaborate with. I'm just saying."
Contact Music reports that as of late, the singer has been putting her film career before her music, as she has been hard at work on her new film, W.E.
